Treating chronic illnesses like CIRS can be time-consuming, overwhelming, confusing, and laborious. There are not many ways around this, but as far as I can tell, the closest thing there is to a cheat code is to have a long conversation with someone with a lot of knowledge and experience. Justin is such a person. He gave me a lot of his time, he made himself available for follow-up questions via email, he shared things with me i didn't know about despite many many hours of researching this disease. Five Stars.

About me

Hello! I’m a recovered Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome (CIRS) patient who spent nearly three years navigating severe biotoxin illness, working with multiple Shoemaker-trained physicians, and experimenting with different treatment strategies in search of real progress. Like many people with CIRS, my recovery journey was filled with confusion, conflicting medical advice, treatment setbacks, and periods where I felt completely stuck. Over time, through persistence, research, and conversations with many others in the CIRS community, I developed a clearer understanding of the factors that most often slow recovery—and what tends to help people move forward. Today I work full-time, stay active, and continue optimizing my health. I now share what I’ve learned to help others navigate the complexity of CIRS more effectively. Through CIRSMap consulting sessions, I help individuals: • Clarify where they are in the recovery process • Identify factors that may be contributing to persistent symptoms • Avoid common pitfalls that lead to flares or setbacks • Prioritize next steps when treatment options feel overwhelming These sessions are educational and strategic in nature and are not a substitute for medical care. My goal is simply to help bring clarity, perspective, and practical guidance to what can otherwise feel like a very confusing recovery journey. - Justin
