I'm a Native New Yorker and recovering opera singer who relocated to ATX in 2020 after living in Munich for a decade. My career has not been linear - there have been some twists and turns (just like life!), but the throughline has always been about relationships and connection. After graduating with a degree in Vocal Performance from Shepherd School of Music at Rice (go Owls 🦉), I packed my bags and moved to Munich. For the next four years, I was an early childhood educator working in a multi-lingual, multi-cultural environment. This was followed by my MBA studies, with the chance to intern and write a master's thesis with BMW Connected Services in Munich, with a focus on events, content management, content writing and editing, technical writing, agency and vendor relationship management, and events.
After finishing my degree, I knew I wanted my post-MBA career to be centered around people, and like many, I "landed" in recruitment. My career in recruitment has spanned geos, languages, industries, verticals, and types of employment (contract + perm). While working on the agency-side, I've been able to successfully partner with VCs to Series A - pre-IPO startups/scaleups to Fortune 50 enterprises and help them find, attract and recruit the right talent at the right time.
