Hi! I am Juhi. I am a social worker and an aspiring researcher who specialises in sports for the development, gender, and safeguarding of children in sports. I have over six years of experience working with non-profits in India, focusing on child, women's, and health rights. I am deeply interested in understanding the role of Sports for Development in Global South as well as exploring the Socio-historical perspective of Sports and how it has shaped the current landscape of Sports Diplomacy, International Politics and Women's Participation in Sports. As a German Chancellor Fellow at the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, I conducted a comparative study on young women's participation in sports in India and Germany drawing learnings for sports for development organisations. I am currently open to working across the Globe with projects/initiatives at the intersection of sports, adolescent health, gender, children's rights, athletes' health and mental health. I am equipped with research, project management, M&E and writing skills.
