About me

#hiring 👋 Hi! I'm passionate about my startup: Convose. 🚀 Convose is going to be the search engine for finding new relationships (convose.com/about). A search engine exists for everything (Youtube=videos, Amazon=Stuff, Google=websites, etc) but there is still no search engine for finding new relationships. How strange is that! Instead, everyone is divided across the internet looking for new relationships on many platforms. Existing platforms make the mistake of only focusing on one kind of new-relationship (e.g., Linkedin just does professional relationships, Hellotalk just does language exchanges, etc). This forces us and our keywords across many different platforms and makes it impossible to do a single search across everyone and impossible to do searches across domains (e.g., find a cofounder who has a specific skill AND specific hobby because you can't search with non-professional keywords on Linkedin). There are so many relevant relationships around us that we are all missing because even if those people were searching using the internet, chances are they would be searching on a different platform to you. Most people don't bother searching for specific new people because of how confusing and difficult it is. Convose will make finding new, specific, relevant people as easy as finding videos on Youtube. 🙋‍♂️ About me: I travelled a lot; volunteering, hitchhiking, camping, couch surfing. Around Europe but also Africa, Asia and my birth place Australia. My aim was to visit many countries, learn languages and generally have awesome experiences while spending as little money as possible (because working wasn't interesting), I really liked meeting new people. People say I lost my Australian accent now. I lived in the boarding house for my last two years of school and loved to hangout with the foreigners there too. After finishing my travels I often remember feeling alone & wishing I could find people like me which is one thing that lead me to the idea of Convose.
