As an experienced Senior Economic Development Advisor at the City of Salisbury, my passion lies in promoting Adelaide to the world and bringing the world to Adelaide. With close to a decade of expertise in economic development, trade and investment, and international relations, I have worked with various national, regional, and local governments, businesses, universities, and ecosystems in the UK, India, New Zealand, and now in Australia. I have successfully executed numerous projects and initiatives that have bolstered the economic growth, innovation, and competitiveness of the regions and sectors I have served. I also bring my experience of working with globally renowned organizations including GE, Goldman Sachs, and Hutchinson Whampoa to name a few in my 10-year stint in the private sector. I enjoy meeting new people, listening to their stories, and learning from their diverse perspectives and experiences. As a proud ambassador of the Scottish Business Network, a former steering committee member at Europe India Centre for Business and Industry, a UK alumnus with an MSc in Risk Management from Scotland, and a former director of the Scottish Development International in India at the British High Commission, I am always eager to explore new opportunities and challenges that can create a positive impact on communities and the world.
