About me
I am professional civil engineer with diverse experience across construction, mining engineering, and building science consulting. After about 4 years in engineering, I completed a masters in global affairs, with a focus on global capital markets and energy policy. This led to a career consulting on various energy transition issues, but with a focus on energy economics - anything from capital planning and asset management, to regulatory economics, and policy advisory.
Additionally, I lead a non-profit that focuses on highlighting the economic and development benefits from decarbonization. With a focus on the Global South and how these countries can leapfrog fossil-fueled development pathways. I am most passionate about this intersection between decarbonization and development outcomes. This work led me to be a sponsored Youth Delegate from Canada to the 26' IRENA Assembly.
