It doesn’t matter if every other affiliate in the niche says the product is awesome. It doesn’t even really matter what the customers are saying. And it sure doesn’t matter what the vendor says about the product.

The only way to know for sure if a product totally rocks and is a good fit for your audience is by reviewing it for yourself. If you wouldn’t recommend this product to your mom or your best friend, then it’s not good enough for your prospects either.

The good news is that once you’ve proven yourself as an affiliate, you’ll have vendors sending you review copies of their products. Some affiliates choose to buy the products anyway, just so that these sorts of freebies don’t influence their decisions. (And this is a good idea, for reasons you’ll learn about in a moment.) Either way, just make sure you review and use the product.
