I booked this session with Jigar sir to prepare for salary negotiations as I transition from 12 years in the Indian Army to the corporate sector, and it exceeded my expectations. He understood the specific challenges an armed forces officer faces in this transition and gave me a clear way to frame my CTC, so that my service compensation is presented accurately rather than undervalued. He helped me set realistic, well-founded job expectations and emphasised doing deliberate research on a company before any conversation, so that I negotiate from knowledge rather than guesswork. Two parts stood out. The first was how to say no gracefully, holding my ground without burning bridges. The second was how to make recruiters recognise and respect what I have already achieved, instead of treating a career switch as starting from zero. He is patient, perceptive, and generous with his experience, and his 21 years in industry show in how practical his advice is. I came away with a clear strategy and far more confidence. I was so impressed that I have asked him to mentor me on an ongoing basis. Highly recommended for anyone preparing for an offer negotiation, and especially for defence professionals moving into corporate roles.

Had a great session, Jigar provided clarity on my thinking and also guided direction on introspection for future. It is helpful to discuss with a industry mentor for better rationalization.
