DAX Function in Power BI
Digital Product

"Everyone says “learn DAX.”

But nobody explains why.

Here’s the truth:

Without DAX, Power BI is just pretty visuals.

With DAX, it becomes a decision-making engine.

Start with these 7 functions:

1. SUM() → totals

2. AVERAGE() → mean values

3. COUNTROWS() → row count

4. DISTINCTCOUNT() → unique items

5. CALCULATE() → context switcher

6. FILTER() → slice your data

7. RELATED() → connect tables

Master them.

Then layer complexity slowly.

Because the analysts who know DAX…

are the ones driving real impact.
