As a proud woman in the Tech and Data world, my journey has been quite an adventure. By day, I work as a Data Analyst at HSBC, where I get to work closely with data and solve meaningful problems. I’ve been grateful to receive two awards at HSBC within my first two years for my contributions. Beyond the corporate space, I’ve volunteered with tech communities such as Microsoft and Codecademy. Academically, I hold a Bachelor’s in Physics, Mathematics, and Computer Science, along with a Master’s in Data Science. My interests extend to open source, data analytics, transitioning into data science, and community development. I’ve had the chance to teach and mentor over 500 students across various tech communities, including Microsoft Learn Student Ambassadors, Codecademy, and Azure Developer Communities. I’ve also shared my learnings through sessions at Microsoft Reactor Bangalore and Microsoft Reactor Europe. On the academic front, I’ve contributed through a published R Programming book in collaboration with IIT Bombay (FOSSEE) and two research papers in the ML/DL domain on IEEE Xplore. I’ve also delivered guest lectures at universities like VIT Bhopal, Jain University, Christ University Lavasa, King David College, Nigeria, Ashoka Universal School and Lovely Professional University.
