Jai Johar is currently working as Senior Manager at EXL into the their Corporate FP&A team. His major responsibility includes Budgeting / Forecasting, Ad hoc Analysis requests from CFO office / management, assisting in earnings call and DCF financial modelling for any potential acquisition /investment. Previously, he has worked with AIG as an Assistant Manager where he was majorly responsible for Financial reporting, financial analysis and facilitating management with quick decision making through developing and designing Power BI projects. Before that, he has spent close to around 1.5 years with his Family Business - Johar Auto Agencies in order to establish and centralize a new branch in New Delhi. He also possesses 3 years of Middle East work ex as he served as Senior Financial Analyst in the Automotive Business (Honda -Sales & Aftersales) of Alghanim Industries. His area of work included Financial planning & analysis, financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, MIS and delivering solution oriented recommendations to the management for the purpose of coping deviations from the budget. He was also involved in advising business strategies by way of monitoring market opportunities and threats. He has worked in the Corporate Finance department during his articleship. He has handled 25 plus clients during the training period which gives him rich experience of areas concerning Valuations, Corporate Restructuring, Data Mining, Client Presentations, Income Tax 1961 Valuations, Bench-marking Target Companies, Forensic Due Diligence etc. He believes that for every problem there is a solution in nature and all we need is to connect ourselves to the nature.
