Just became a manager and finding that being good at the job isn't the same as leading the people doing it? This session is for first-time managers, team leads, and newly promoted individual contributors who are navigating feedback, delegation, difficult conversations, and building trust with a team for the first time.
We won't do generic leadership theory. I'll ask about a real situation you're facing right now a feedback conversation you're avoiding, a team member who's disengaged, a delegation that isn't working and we'll rehearse it together, using experiential and improv-based techniques I use in corporate manager-development programs. You'll leave with a specific script, a next conversation to have, and more confidence walking into it.
Best for: new managers, team leads, first-time people managers, tech/SaaS/startup professionals recently promoted into leadership roles.
