I got into cybersecurity because I liked the idea that somewhere in a pile of logs, there is a story. Someone moved laterally at 2 AM, covered their tracks, and left three lines behind. Finding that is what I do. Two and a half years in blue team operations, CEH and CySA+ certified. But the job has never been the ceiling. I build detection systems in my own lab, chase problems that do not have textbook answers yet, and find that the most interesting work always starts where the job description ends. I also help people trying to get into this field or get sharper at it. Cybersecurity has too much gatekeeping and not enough honest guidance. I try to fix that, one conversation at a time.
