Aspiring Clinical Psychologist aiming to combat the stigma surrounding mental health in India. I am interested in studying abnormality, particularly psychotic disorders, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and substance use disorders through a cognitive and behavioral lens. My research experience includes studying the effectiveness of warning labels on tobacco packaging and more recently, exploring the cultural correlates of CBT for anxiety disorders in the Indian context. I believe in the cause of mental health for all and hope to work towards bridging the large treatment gap that currently exists in India.
