• I had a one to one call with Jaan after getting into Cornell University because I was honestly quite confused about what to do next. I was trying to figure out my career between analytics and consulting, and I had a lot of questions around both, along with how recruitment in the U.S. actually works. The conversation really helped me understand how both analytics and consulting career paths look in the U.S., how recruiting generally works, and what I can expect from the program at Cornell and the Johnson School of Business. We also spoke about how I can navigate between the two in the future and what a possible middle path could look like. He also shared insights about the alumni network and how things usually play out after the program. What I liked the most was that he actually took the time to understand my background and then answered everything based on that. It did not feel generic at all. He was very direct, very transparent, and did not try to sugarcoat anything, which I really appreciated.
