Izeen Fatima identifies as a published author, UNESCO Changemaker'23, a social development worker, a Vedana Awardee, a sportswoman and a law student at Campus Law Centre, DU. She is currently the founder & chairperson of Pink Legal Ibtida which is a socio-legal community and a platform that breaks down barriers and builds bridges to overcome gaps, discrimination and unequal opportunities for women in our society. She has worked on projects which focuses on sustainable and green menstruation as well as currently working on the awareness around Menstrual Health & Hygiene, Child Safety and Protection and Cyber Laws. She has a keen interest in research wherein she has also presented her Research Paper on "Thriving beyond Prejudice: Indian Muslim Adolescents" at Karolinska Institutet and UNICEF hosted “BOLD IDEAS FOR BRIGHTER FUTURES” international conference in Stockholm, Sweden. Izeen has also completed a PG Advanced Diploma course in International Humanitarian Law from NALSAR, Hyderabad. Something that keeps her grounded and humble in all of it is- sports and nature, she is a basketball player as well as a National-level Air Pistol and Air Rifle Shooter. She wishes to create a mark through her identity wherever she goes, against all the odds.
