With more than 15 years of experience in the field of maintenance, reliability, and projects of chemical plant and utilities, I am a Mechanical Manager at Jubilant Ingrevia Limited, a leading manufacturer of specialty chemicals and life science ingredients. As an Energy Manager and Auditor certified by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency, I am passionate about improving the energy efficiency and sustainability of the plant operations and processes. In my current role, I am responsible for preventive, proactive, and breakdown maintenance of various chemical process equipment and utility plant, such as pumps, heat exchangers, reactors, agitators, fans, blowers, mechanical seals, boilers, compressors, chillers, etc. I also plan and execute capex projects, prepare and monitor the maintenance budget, perform failure analysis and root cause analysis, and ensure compliance with the maintenance procedures and standards. I have successfully handled multiple major breakdowns, reduced the maintenance downtime, and increased the equipment availability and reliability. I work with a team of engineers and technicians, and I collaborate with vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders to deliver optimal solutions and results.
