Career pivots feel hard because the path isn't obvious, especially when your background doesn't match the traditional profile for where you want to go. This session is for people who are smart, driven, and accomplished in one field but want to move into another and don't know how to position themselves credibly.

I've made this pivot myself (dentistry → USC Marshall MBA → strategy consulting → VC) and have helped clients make similar moves. I know exactly what makes non-traditional backgrounds compelling rather than disqualifying and it comes down to narrative.
