Most early-stage financial models tend to have similar gaps and a big one is that many founders simply haven’t seen what an investor-friendly model actually looks like. As a result, key elements are often missing, or the structure doesn’t align with how investors evaluate businesses.

This session is designed to help you pressure-test the fundamentals and ensure your model is directionally sound and structured in a way investors expect.

Here’s how it works:

1. You share your model at least 48 hours in advance
2. I review it beforehand to understand the structure, assumptions, and overall logic
3. During the 90-min session, we walk through the key foundational elements together - whether the structure makes sense, whether assumptions are defensible, and how well it aligns with what investors typically look for

We’ll focus on areas like:

1. Structure: does the model include the right components investors expect (clear revenue build, unit economics, cost breakdown, summary view)?
2. Revenue assumptions: are they logical and grounded?
3. Unit economics
4. Cost structure: anything missing or misrepresented?
5. Overall projections: do they feel credible and internally consistent?
6. Investor view: are the right headline numbers and insights coming through clearly?

Within 24 hours, you’ll receive a written summary highlighting key observations and areas to refine, so you can take the model forward with clarity.
