I am an urban strategist with specialisation in economic advisory, business strategy and transformation, business cases (HM Treasury 5 cases), market assessments, governance and policy reforms for enabling nature-positive infrastructure and Net Zero transition. I did my post experience Masters in Public Policy at The London School of Economics with concentration on climate policy and innovations in private markets for public service delivery. In past, I have worked with PwC in their Economic Advisory Services as part of the wider Government Reforms and Infrastructure Development practice for key portfolios such as urban development, water, wastewater, solid waste management, new energy and mobility along with central and local governments, utilities, FMCGs, PE investors and multilateral banks such as ADB, FCDO, IFC, across emerging economies in South Asia and the Middle East. I have been part of the shadow leadership board and worked with the India Leadership Team for firm wide ESG initiatives. Prior to PwC, I worked with Govt. of India where I supported a national transport authority for the implementation of value capture finance & transit-oriented development for debt servicing of India’s first semi-high-speed Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) in Delhi, an ADB- AIIB funded project worth US$3.8 billion. I am a campaigner for gender mainstreaming in city planning & policy making. I authored my first book on ' Reinventing Safe Cities' in 2019, which establishes a strong spatial correlation between crime/ fear of crime with the socio-economic, infrastructure and land use.
