I am Ishika, a Political Science & Psychology graduate from Lady Shri Ram College (Delhi University) with a Postgraduate Diploma in International Law & Diplomacy (ISIL). I have interned at NITI Aayog, NHRC, and IMPRI, and worked professionally with IPE Global’s Social & Economic Empowerment team (Girl Capital), collaborating on research, program design, and donor engagement with partners like UNFPA and CIFF. Currently, I am a Research Assistant at IIM Ahmedabad with Prof. Vidya Vemireddy, focusing on agriculture, food systems, rural women, and climate resilience. Alongside research, I write extensively on contemporary issues, with bylines in The Hindu, The Financial Express, Hindustan Times, Deccan Herald, NDTV, and Youth Ki Awaaz. I also bring practical experience in resume building. During my undergraduate years, I was shortlisted by organisations such as D.E. Shaw, Republic TV, and I-PAC, which taught me how to showcase diverse experiences with clarity and impact.
On Topmate, I bring together these experiences to help you translate ideas into publishable writing and actionable research. In a focused session, we can refine an op-ed or article (angle, structure, evidence, pitch), sharpen a research question or method (scope, literature map, data-to-insight flow), build a strong and targeted resume, or discuss pathways in the policy and development space (roles, skills, next steps). Expect practical, honest feedback and a concise action plan you can implement immediately, so you leave with clarity, confidence, and momentum.
