My favourite part about travelling to work is passing a printing factory across the road from our office. The scent of freshly printed books with ink still warm. It takes me home, back to my dad and my grand dad, their printing factory, the days I spent growing up around conversations that value print on paper. As weird as it is, you will still find me sniffing a freshly printed magazine, before I start reading it. Although, that is not all that I do here, at All Things Media. Working as an Assistant Editor is more than just proofing articles for a B2B magazine and website editing, I get hands-on experience with designing weekly newsletters, interviewing industry leaders and experts in tech around trending topics, leading social media campaigns, and sometimes, if I am lucky, getting a chance to fulfil my dream of using a camera and producing videos. With my background as a Literature student, I had spent four years exploring the creative world, writing poetry and essays, studying film, philosophy and art. That is what led me to discover a team of literary creatives at the Chaotic Merge Magazine. I am best known for my eagerness to learn anything.
