I'm Parul Baranwal, a passionate researcher, water manager, and environmental engineer with over eight years of experience in the fields of environmental engineering, sustainability, and microbiology. 🌿🔬 I earned my master’s degree in Environmental Management from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee and then obtained my PhD from the University of Toledo in Ohio. 🎓💡 I did my studies with scholarships and completed my education without financial burdens. After getting PhD admission with a full scholarship, I was fortunate to receive six more scholarships during my time in the USA. 🌟💼 By day, I work as a water quality program manager, ensuring safe and clean drinking water for communities. 💧💙 But beyond my professional commitments, I'm dedicated to assisting Indian international students and professionals in navigating their study journeys in the USA, whether it's pursuing masters, PhD, or postdoc opportunities. 🌍🇺🇸 Having personally experienced the challenges of entrance exams like GRE and TOEFL, communicating with professors and universities, and preparing documents such as SOPs and recommendation letters, I understand the complexities of the process. However, my hard work and dedication paid off, and I was fortunate to receive full scholarships from three universities in the United States for my Ph.D. program. Moreover, after completing my Ph.D., I received eight job offers from esteemed government organizations, including Stanford University. 🌠🏢 Throughout my journey, I encountered failures and obstacles, but each experience taught me valuable lessons.
