With over 12 years of AI and quantitative programming experience, I am a Principal Data Scientist at Oracle, where I work on the customer data platform Oracle Unity. This platform integrates and analyzes customer data from online, offline, and third-party sources to create a single, dynamic, real-time view of each customer. I use AI and ML techniques to build intelligent features that enhance customer engagement, retention, and loyalty. My background includes a PhD, where I developed computer vision and other AI tools for prototyping medical devices for resource-limited settings. I have also led and mentored teams of data scientists, acquired and managed multiple projects and grants, and published 20+ papers in peer-reviewed journals and conferences. I was the Principal Investigator for a competitive grant from Qatar National Research Fund, where I applied ML to estimate the remaining lifetime of electrical equipment. My mission is to leverage AI and ML to solve real-world problems and create value for customers and businesses.
