The Boring Retreat — Edition 01, Rishikesh (Sep 12–14, 2026)

This is not a workshop and not a vacation. It's 3 days in a villa by the Ganga with 6 other professionals, doing the work most people postpone forever: figuring out your positioning, your leverage, and your next 90 days.

What happens there:

  • 9 structured sessions across Career, AI, and Content Creation (~10 hours total — afternoons are free)
  • A hot-seat for every participant: 25 minutes where the room dissects YOUR situation
  • Build Hour: you ship one real asset before you sleep
  • You leave with a written positioning statement, one post ready to publish, and a 90-day plan presented to the room
  • 6 biweekly follow-up calls after the retreat to make sure you execute it

The money, fully transparent:

  • My mentorship fee: ₹6,000. That's the only money I make.
  • Stay + food: billed at actual cost, split equally — every invoice shared with the cohort. I take 0% commission.
  • All-in ≈ ₹12,000–13,400, excluding your travel (you book your own bus/train/flight — overnight bus from Delhi works perfectly).
  • Just 1 leave day needed (Monday). Back at your desk Tuesday.

I’ve been following Sachin for around 6–7 months now, and one thing I genuinely like about him is how straightforward and practical he is. No fake motivation, no unnecessary fluff — just real facts about what to do, how to approach interviews, and how the industry actually works. What stood out the most in the workshop was how he showed live interview examples and explained how to think while answering questions, not just memorizing responses. That really changed my perspective. The workshop was honestly lit. One major realization I had was that being underpaid is not always because of a skill issue — sometimes it’s because we don’t position ourselves properly or communicate our value the right way. The way Sachin explained this made a lot of things click for me. Another valuable thing I learned was the importance of confidently saying “Yes, I already have offers” during negotiations. Earlier, I used to hesitate or say “not yet, but…” which immediately weakens your position. There were a lot of practical insights like this throughout the workshop that you usually don’t get from random YouTube videos or generic career advice.
