About me

Hello, I’m Akshat Mehta from Ahmedabad, India. My journey in technology has evolved from building user interfaces to developing AI-driven solutions focused on real-world impact. I’ve always been driven by curiosity understanding how technology can solve practical problems. I started as a Front-End Developer, working with React, Vue.js, and Next.js to create intuitive and responsive applications. While building interfaces, I realized that functionality and reliability are just as critical as design. This led me into Quality Assurance (QA), where I developed skills in both manual and automation testing using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright, along with CI/CD integrations through Jenkins and CircleCI. As I progressed, I developed a strong interest in Artificial Intelligence. To deepen my expertise, I pursued a Master’s in AI and Machine Learning from LJMU, UK. During this time, I worked on my research thesis titled “Exploring Generative AI LLM’s Potential for Automated Test Case Generation,” where I focused on building AI-driven solutions to automate and improve QA processes. Currently, I work extensively with Python, NLP, Generative AI, and Agentic AI. I have hands-on experience with vector databases, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and prompt engineering, along with deploying scalable solutions using AWS and GCP. Alongside my professional work, I am actively involved in mentorship for end-to-end research journeys, supporting individuals from topic selection to final thesis completion. I am an official research mentor for two universities and also provide external mentorship. Over the past two years, I have guided 300+ students through their research thesis, helping with structuring, dataset selection, and timely completion. Additionally, I support professionals with resume building, job screening, and mock interviews, and have helped 150+ individuals improve their resumes and 200+ optimize their LinkedIn profiles. I am also part of Analytics Vidhya’s Agentic AI Pioneer Program, where I continue to stay updated with the latest advancements in AI. My goal is to bridge the gap between AI research and real-world applications while supporting others in their learning and career growth. Thanks. Akshat Mehta
