Hyder is a strategist and serves on various non-profit, for-profit, and government boards. He founded the www.gatewayconnects.ca transformation with the help of his team as CEO of Immigrant Services Calgary. Prior to this role, he spent over 10 years in the financial industry, creating high-performance teams and managing portfolios valued over $500 million. As a passionate advocate for vulnerable populations, Hyder co-founded FullSoul.ca, a not-for-profit organization that provides Ugandan health facilities with medical supplies for safer childbirths. Hyder holds a MSc. Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Between 2018 and 2019, he was named one of Calgary’s Top 40 Under 40, Calgary Herald’s Compelling Calgarian, Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal, and was awarded the Immigrants of Distinction Award. He is a CFP and CIM designation holder.
