About me
I am excited to commence a Bachelor's Degree in Economics at the National University of Singapore on a full-ride scholarship this August. With a focus on Behavioral Economics and consumer decision-making, I aim to delve deep into economic theory and its real-world applications.
I am also honoured to be amongst the select few admitted into the rigorous honours college of NUS, NUS College. NUSC, formed from the merging of two dynamic programmes: Yale-NUS and University Scholars Programme (USP), provides for an interdisciplinary liberal arts experience for the top 6-7% of the NUS cohort and fosters values that drive social impact. I aim to utilize the wide range of opportunities offered at NUSC to create change.
During my time as an intern at Ernst & Young, I contributed to a World Bank Project with the State Taxes Department of Himachal Pradesh, honing my analytical and leadership skills. My experience with Invest India provided me with valuable insights into investment facilitation and economic development strategies. Additionally, I authored a research paper on Loss Aversion Amongst Patients of Different Age Groups, which was published in a peer-reviewed journal, strengthening my commitment to rigorous academic research.
Beyond my professional experience, I have developed various creative ventures, including publishing an Amazon best-selling book, leading an environmental initiative under the TERI Organization, and co-founding a DPIIT-recognized filmmaking start-up. These endeavors have enriched my skill set, particularly in creativity, communication, and teamwork.
Passionate, diligent, and focused, I am driven by an innate curiosity to explore and understand economic theories in their entirety. My work ethos is built on the pillars of aptitude, leadership, determination, and creativity.
