I’ve spent over 13 years working as a backend engineer across India and Europe, building and scaling systems at product companies like Adobe and Wayfair. Over time, I naturally became involved in interviewing and mentoring engineers, which helped me understand where candidates tend to struggle beyond just technical knowledge. Recently, I also went through the interview process myself with multiple product companies, which gave me first-hand insight into today’s hiring landscape — from how resumes are screened to what interviewers really look for during backend and system design rounds. This experience reinforced my interest in helping engineers prepare in a practical, realistic way. I enjoy breaking down complex problems, discussing trade-offs, and helping candidates improve how they structure and communicate their thinking under interview pressure. Through mock interviews and mentoring, my goal is to help candidates approach interviews with clarity, confidence, and an understanding of real-world expectations, rather than relying on memorized answers.
