Hello there! My name is Mr. Himanshu Surve and I am a Graduate student at the University of Maryland, College Park, studying Masters in Telecommunication Engineering. I am excited to apply for both Network Engineer and Software Engineer internships for summer 2024. My academic background and industrial experience so far has provided me a strong foundation in networking and programming. I am a passionate Telecom Network Engineer with a relentless drive to optimise and innovate communication networks. With a strong foundation in the Networking domain, System Administration, Firewall, Cloud and Automation, I am committed to delivering seamless connectivity and exceptional user experiences. I am a CCNA certified and CCNP qualified professional. I have hands-on experience in configuring Cisco and Juniper's routers and switches, troubleshooting network issues, monitoring network traffic, configuring VLANs, implementing various L3 and L2 protocols for enhanced and smooth secured communication. I also have an experience in handling the data centre, and deploying applications for users. Some of them include DNS, DHCP, VPN, Email, LDAP, Proxy etc. Network architecting is my forte. I like designing network architecture be it a brown field or a green field. On the software engineering side, I have experience in developing and implementing automated testing scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications. I am proficient in programming language such as python. I have experience with testing frameworks like TestNG and Selenium. I have experience working in environment practicing continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines. My ability to identify issues, devise effective solutions, and implement changes efficiently has been a cornerstone of my success as a Telecom Network Engineer. Collaboration is at the heart of what I do. I've had the privilege of working alongside talented professionals to tackle complex projects, ensuring that networks remain robust and adaptable to evolving demands. I'm committed to staying at the forefront of industry trends and technologies. Continuous learning and professional development are integral to my journey.
