About me
I'm a Visual Storyteller, Creative Producer and Communications Strategist working at the intersection of social impact, arts and culture, and media.
Over the years, I have developed films, campaigns, exhibitions and digital storytelling projects that explore communities, behavioural change, heritage, public memory and social issues. My work has reached millions across platforms and earned global recognition, including two Global Anthem Awards in 2025.
Trusted to tell stories by the following sectors:
• Social Impact: Experience of working at Global foundations and international organisations like BBC Media Action, and grassroots initiatives (Alohomora Education Foundation) working across gender (Vitamin Stree, Yuvvaa), climate action, livelihoods, entrepreneurship and public engagement.
• Arts & Culture: Experience of working with Heritage institutions like INTACH (India National Trust for Art and Culture Education), museums and oral history projects (Anjuman Tarraqui Urdu Hind - Urdu Ghar), including contributions to the world's first museum dedicated to the memory and experiences of Partition.
• Media: Publications and platforms including The Indian Express, Vogue India, The Wire, India Today, and others.
As an alumna of AJK Mass Communication Research Centre (MCRC), Jamia Millia Islamia, I understand how challenging it can be to navigate media careers, higher education, creative opportunities and an ever-evolving industry. Having mentored students and early-career professionals, I enjoy helping others make informed decisions about their next steps.
Whether you're exploring careers in filmmaking, journalism, communications, social impact storytelling, museums and culture, or simply trying to build a stronger portfolio and professional identity, I'm happy to share insights from my journey and help you shape yours.
Let's talk stories, careers and the many paths in between.
