About me

I build the systems that let one piece of software actually talk to another. Two domains, 8 years combined: healthcare interoperability (FHIR, HL7, Epic) and enterprise SaaS/digital adoption platforms (SSO, HRIS sync, third-party platform integrations). At Visilant I was the founding engineer, the only full-stack owner on a 5-person team, and built the entire product myself: backend, React front end, and a SMART-on-FHIR client wired directly into Epic (OAuth2 with JWT client assertion, RS384-signed JWKS, pulling Patient, Observation, DiagnosticReport, ImagingStudy and more). It's now running across five hospital deployments. I also owned the HIPAA audit and the ABHA health-ID handling for India's national health-ID system. At Ziplyne, an enterprise Chrome-extension platform, I led engineering through a SOC 2 audit and built the integration layer: adapters for SAP, Coupa, Workday, and SuccessFactors, a live Workday HR data sync, and SSO across Okta, IBM Security Verify, and Shibboleth plus Coupa's OAuth2 flow. That's the kind of integration work digital adoption platforms live or die on. Before that, I built the original Angular front end for Intelehealth's telehealth platform on OpenMRS. Outside client work, I maintain two open-source translators on npm, hl7-fhir-translator and cda-fhir-translator, used by other engineers moving data between HL7v2/C-CDA and FHIR. Whether you're stuck on an EHR integration, need to wire SSO or an HRIS sync into an enterprise product, or you're an engineer trying to break into either of those spaces and want a mock interview or a second opinion on your code, book a call below.
