
The Emerging Leaders Launchpad is a comprehensive workshop designed for new managers and aspiring leaders, focusing on key leadership skills necessary for success in managerial roles. This 2-day workshop covers essential areas like leadership presence, team motivation, delegation, performance management, and building collaborative relationships.
On Day 1, participants will begin by developing their leadership presence and confidence, learning strategies to project authority, build self-confidence, and overcome imposter syndrome. The day includes role-play exercises to practice public speaking and leadership scenarios, followed by an interactive discussion on creating a commanding presence. The second session covers motivating and inspiring teams, focusing on understanding what drives team members and how to create a motivating work environment. Case studies and role-play exercises will allow participants to apply motivational techniques in real-world scenarios.
Day 2 focuses on delegation and empowerment strategies, where participants will learn how to effectively delegate tasks and empower their teams, overcoming common barriers. This is followed by a session on performance management, where participants will practice conducting performance reviews and handling difficult conversations. The final session covers building collaborative relationships, teaching active listening, empathy, and conflict resolution skills to foster teamwork.
