Hi, I'm Hemachandra. I’m currently a Software Engineer at Stripe, where I focus on building reliable and scalable systems that power global financial infrastructure. Before Stripe, I spent 5+ years at Microsoft, where I worked across large-scale distributed systems, backend services, and mobile platforms—earning multiple promotions and awards for innovation, leadership, and customer impact. I hold a Master’s in Computer Science from Georgia Tech (4.0 GPA) and an Integrated Master’s in Mathematics & Computing from IIT Kharagpur. My professional interests span distributed systems, machine learning, and inference serving—with hands-on experience developing AI-powered assistants, adaptive inference serving systems, and AR-based applications. Beyond my work, I’ve mentored 700+ students as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for Deep Learning, enjoy collaborating on innovative hackathon projects, and am passionate about solving complex technical challenges with real-world impact.
