Thank you Akash for helping me cross the bridge from graphic design to UX Design. Wouldn’t have been possible without you. I’ll always be grateful :)

I was fortunate to come across Akash through a friend and the very first chat with him about UX Design and its impact helped me clear all my doubts about design career.

I was reporting under Akash at Paytm Money and his take on UX management in a fast paced startup was always insightful. I learnt a lot about design leadership from him.
The fact of the matter is..’Good enough portfolio is not enough anymore. It's just the first piece of the puzzle.’
Hello there 👋
I’m an animator ➡️ film-maker ➡️ self-taught designer, who learnt design the hard way. My journey is made of curiosity, mistakes, and years of building things that had to work in the real world. Over the last decade, I’ve worked as a UXer on products which are used by millions of users across the world. This includes Paytm Money, ClearTax, 1Weather, and now Google.
My journey wasn’t shaped by formal design education, but rather by persistence and an obsession with craft. I’ve seen how the quality bar in UX has risen sharply over the years. Today, competition is intense, and getting noticed or shortlisted takes far more than a polished portfolio. It demands clear storytelling, strong product thinking, and a deep understanding of what drives great user experience.
As a mentor, I want to help you sharpen those edges. Whether it’s portfolio feedback, interview preparation, or developing stronger design judgment, my goal is to help you compete at the level where good isn’t enough anymore.
