Prior to this he was at Microsoft as a Client Partner Lead consulting a portfolio of Strategic Financial Services clients on their digital marketing. His role was to foster partnerships with Marketing Directors & CMO's to help them achieve ROI through Microsoft Advertising. Hashim also led a number of internal BD projects. Hashim also worked at Facebook consulting a portfolio of Venture Capital backed startups on their growth marketing and GTM strategy. His sector expertise was across FinTech, Ecommerce, D2C, HealthTech and Digital Marketplaces. Hashim is also experienced in business development through ideating and leading the partnership work with Venture Capital firms to identify and pipeline high value startups into Facebook's tailored startup program which he manages. Hashim was the Valedictorian for Philosophy, Politics, Economics, Class of 2018 - University of York, delivering the commencement speech to his class. He also helped scale and launch a non-profit consultancy where as CEO, he led a team of 70+ students and founded the York Consulting Conference where he connected 147+ students from 9 Universities, with speakers from EY, Google, KPMG, Deloitte, BCG, PwC, IBM, Accenture and other top firms. He's also delivered a TEDx speech titled 'unlocking your inner leader', which is premised that each of us can unlock our inner leader through being emotionally intelligent, leading by example, and doing so with a smile. His prior experience includes sales & trading at J.P.Morgan, consulting at EY, marketing at Nestle, and legal at Cornelius Lane Advocates & Solicitors, with work experience at Projects Abroad (China). Hashim also mentors startups through Wayra Accelerator and entrepreneurs via Venture for Pakistan.
