Harshit Poddar currently works in Investment Banking at EY after completing his MBA from Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, where he also pursued a student exchange at Prague University of Economics and Business. A Gold Medalist in Economics Honours from Hansraj College and an alumnus of Don Bosco School, Guwahati, his journey has been driven by curiosity around economics, businesses, and human behaviour. Over the years, he has explored diverse experiences across finance, consulting, research, and leadership through a management internship at FinIQ Consulting, Dubai, research work at FMS Delhi, and an academic internship under Bajaj Auto CSR initiatives. Following Hansraj, he also received offers from ZS Associates and DE Shaw. Beyond academics and work, he has actively been involved in dramatics, dance, student leadership, volunteering, and community-building initiatives, including serving as Volunteer Manager for Robin Hood Army, Guwahati, and co-organising Sangam, the first-ever Hansraj Hostel Alumni Meet. Harshit has represented India at HPAIR Hong Kong, was recognized among India’s Top 50 Most Employable Graduates by InsideIIM, and converted IIM Bangalore in his first CAT attempt. Outside work, he enjoys travelling, swimming, storytelling, and meaningful conversations.
