Hi, I’m Harshil Sanghvi—a passionate Computer Science professional dedicated to leveraging technology to tackle complex challenges. Currently, I’m pursuing my Master’s in Computer Science at Stony Brook University, focusing on Computer Vision, Data Science, and Natural Language Processing. My academic foundation was laid at Nirma University, where I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering with a Gold Medal, reflecting my commitment to excellence from the start. In my role as a Graduate Research Assistant at Stony Brook, I work closely with leading professors to enhance research productivity and accuracy. I develop automated data processing tools, optimize workflows, and utilize Python for data extraction and analysis. This role has refined my technical skills and taught me the value of effective collaboration and problem-solving in research. Beyond research, I’ve also taken on managerial roles, such as serving as a Graduate Facilities Manager, where I ensured smooth operations and maintained excellent environments for student activities. My internship experiences, including a role at Johnson Controls–Hitachi Air Conditioning, have further honed my abilities in software development, data manipulation, and machine learning. Currently, I’m interning at Interactive Brokers as a Software Development Engineer (SDE) Intern, applying my backend skills to real-world projects and continuing my growth in Computer Science. With a solid blend of theoretical knowledge and practical experience, I’m excited to keep advancing the field of Computer Science and contributing to innovative, technology-driven solutions.
