As a highly motivated and detail-oriented data professional, I am passionate about solving complex problems using data-driven approaches. As an MSDS candidate at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, I have gained a solid foundation in cutting-edge data science techniques, including machine learning, deep learning, neural networks, natural language processing, statistical modeling and big data technologies such as Apache Spark, and Hadoop. My technical expertise also includes working with virtual/cloud technologies such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microsoft Azure, Heroku, Databricks, and Snowflake. During my tenure as a Digital Transformation Officer at Larsen & Toubro Ltd – Power IC, I implemented and maintained ETL scripts in Python to scrape data from external websites into a SQL database, resulting in a 50% increment in company research efficiency. Additionally, I designed forecasting algorithms using RIMA, ARIMA, and Regressing Algorithms to predict future commodities and raw materials prices with 87% efficiency, driving business outcomes. I also developed web-based Image Annotation tools using JavaScript and Optical Character Recognition tools to extract critical details out of unstructured data of a document using Azure Cognitive Services, improving the speed of the process by 60%. In my current role as a Research Assistant at the University of Maryland Baltimore County, I analyze EEG data while performing hand movements and apply multiple classification algorithms, resulting in an 85% accuracy rate in identifying brain activity patterns. I also develop and implement Web APIs using Flask and SQL, allowing researchers to access and analyze the EEG data. I have hosted Web APIs on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and maintained cloud services, ensuring 99.9% uptime for researchers. I have also developed Stance Detections and Tweet Sentiment Analysis algorithms using NLP techniques, resulting in a 75% improvement in accurately predicting public sentiment toward the brand, products, and services.
