Hajar is a registered professional engineer (P.Eng). She earned her MASc in Chemical Engineering from the University of Toronto, specializing in Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) of biofuels, and has more than 8 years of experience in air quality modeling, greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions quantification/verification (Scope 1, 2, 3), and decarbonization. Hajar has expertise in managing multi-stakeholder, cross-functional projects, which has been a core aspect of her GHG accounting and LCA work. She is proficient in using various LCA tools (SimaPro, ecoinvent, GREET, GHGenius) to conduct GHG emissions analysis and LCA studies across diverse industries, including petroleum, textile, pharmaceutical, utility providers, steel manufacturing, transportation, government, and renewable fuels.
