On the path to building a bootstrapped (self-funded) SaaS company from scratch.
(Note, this isn't the path most entrepreneurs take.)
I've learned some hard lessons along the way:
1. Your technical background isn't enough to be successful in the startup landscape.
2. If you don't want to go bankrupt, most of your work is mundane legal stuff, scalable architecture, and SEO.
3. Hire slow. Fire fast. Your Co-founder needs to have skin in the game. Don't just work with your friends.
And this is all assuming you have a market to sell to in the first place.
Immigrant? I've got your back.
Don't be hesitant to book a call. I'm someone who has worked in the trenches, just like you. And it would bring me great pleasure to guide you through this madness.
