Gordhan Das is an Associate Professor at Quaid-e-Awam University of Engineering, Science, and Technology (QUEST) Nawabshah, where he has been teaching and researching energy technologies for over three years. He holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Mehran University of Engineering and Technology (MUET) Jamshoro, where he also obtained his Bachelor's degree in the same field. With more than 10 years of experience in the energy sector of Pakistan, Gordhan has developed and applied various energy models, such as TIMES and LEAP, to analyze and evaluate energy policy and strategy options for the country. He has published his findings in several peer-reviewed journals and conferences, and has received multiple honors and fellowships for his research excellence. He has also coordinated and managed several department-level events and programs, including workshops, seminars, training sessions, and student competitions. As a focal person for the Mevlana Exchange Program, he has established and maintained partnerships with five Turkish universities and facilitated the exchange of students and faculty. Gordhan is passionate about advancing the knowledge and practice of renewable and emerging energy technologies and power plants, and empowering his students and colleagues to achieve their academic and professional goals. He is fluent in Sindhi, English, and Urdu, and has a certificate of service as a guest editor of a special issue on sustainability.
