I have over 7 years of experience in data science, machine learning, and data engineering, I am an independent consultant in AI and ML who does everything from strategy to implementation. I also have 6 years experience in scientific computational modeling giving me a good overall view of the end-to-end process of bringing projects from conception to deployment and beyond. Previously, I was the Director of AI and ML at Huckleberry Labs, a leading data-driven company that provides innovative solutions for healthcare and wellness. I have a diverse background and understanding of various industries, including fintech, data infrastructure and analytics, software development, IT services and consulting, academia and research, and the U.S. Navy. At Huckleberry, I was responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation of best-in-class ML and data engineering systems that are cost-optimized, extensible, flexible, and scalable. I also lead and have developed a high-performing AI and ML team, ensuring the program is positioned to help the business scale and deliver key results in collaboration with other groups. Additionally, I conceptualize and execute cutting-edge research projects that leverage AI and ML to drive operational efficiency, increase precision, improve scale across millions of data points, and solve complex, multidimensional problems. Some of my notable achievements include designing a system for CI/CD and Infrastructure as a Code that influenced the organization development as a whole and immediately delivered value, and building a system to recognize data drift and automatically retrain ML models at certain thresholds.
