🌟Proud transfer student 🌟First-generation college graduate 🌟Daughter of immigrants These are three major parts of my identity that I highlight when I share my story and career path to motivate others. I am an experienced Recruiter and Former Academic Advisor, and I am passionate about being an integral part of an individual’s career journey. I am an advocate for the People, and my goal and mission is to empower and educate individuals through their job search process. I have tenured experience in talent acquisition with various industries and levels; full-cycle recruiting (conducting phone and in-person interviews, negotiating offers, etc.), utilizing Applicant Tracking System and assessing market trends, resume revising, interview prepping, and working directly with hiring managers as a trusted client advisor to provide a value-add approach (revising job descriptions, assess candidates, touch base weekly meeting, etc). I have helped over 1,000 candidates increase their career options by building effective resumes and LinkedIn profiles, and providing effective interview coaching. I was promoted at Google in less than 2 years! I served as part-time Program Manager for Google's University Programs, executing and planning events on campus at UCs and Cal States to provide educational workshops to Computer Science students, managing volunteers, and collaborating with external and internal stakeholders.
