After spending my childhood in an orphanage, I began my career with Child Helpline-1098, where I worked on issues related to child labor, POCSO cases, and emergency situations. During this period, I had the opportunity to meet numerous children who, like me, had spent their lives in orphanages. I observed that they faced similar challenges as care leavers. Motivated by this realization, we initiated the development of a care leaver network. Now, we are actively building a platform for care leavers who have spent their lives in orphanages. Our primary goal is to provide support and create a platform that is led by care leavers, for care leavers. We believe in the power of lived experiences and are dedicated to empowering care leavers to navigate the challenges they face and build fulfilling lives beyond the orphanage system.
