Chief Architect and Engineering technical lead with 12+ years of international and varied experience in engineering and analytics related roles at the intersection of distributed computing/systems and AI/data analytics. Since April 2023, I am the Chief Technology Architect and head of Data at Sector Alarm, one of Europe’s top providers of smart home solutions and a KKR portfolio company. Prior to that, I spent 5+ years at Facebook/Meta leading XFN projects and teams to help scale and optimize Meta’s highly distributed edge computing infrastructure, used to serve billions of people across Meta family of apps. In this context, I build AI and analytical systems to automate Meta IT operations at scale, and to support critical decisions around infrastructure investments and scaling, including building the next generation computing infrastructure for the metaverse. My experience also includes working in the Telco and media industries in multiple analytics and engineering roles, focusing on designing and optimizing large scale distributed platforms and systems. At 26, I held a PhD and master’s (Diplome d’Ingénieur) in computer engineering from Institut Polytechnique de Paris. Beyond my work, I occasionally lecture on new technology trends. I am also a seasoned speaker in many high-profile technical and non-technical conferences. Between 2015 and 2020, I was an appointed member of the World Economic Forum Global Future councils, providing expertise around the future of computing and AI.
