I am fascinated by how the brain solves vision effortlessly. During my PhD, I have performed experiments on humans and non-human primates to understand visual processing in higher visual areas. My research involved designing experiments, collecting data, computational modelling, and publishing the results. Additionally, I played a significant role in setting up the new lab to study non-human primates in a naturalistic setting. I am well-versed with all works related to neurophysiological recordings in non-human primates: training, electrode implantation, and data recording. I am a signal processing engineer turned vision scientist. I am proficient in coding. I have used MATLAB for all experiment works and Python for projects outside the curriculum. I have excellent leadership and problem-solving abilities. I am seeking an industry-oriented opening in the field of applied neuroscience.
