Having started my professional career as a trainee in Infosys, all my work experience has been a continued learning process. Through a world standard training facility in Infosys Mysore, I was introduced into Information Technology. Following that, I continued my journey as a Java Enterprise Edition trainer in Infosys Education and Research department. My two years of participation in training material creation and providing class room sessions, shaped my professional and technical skills. Then I transitioned into developing and delivering applications for Wells Fargo Bank. My first project(ACI to S1 migration) was to create a Java standalone utility which could extract data from ACI database and create XML files. Parallel to this transition, pursued my MS in Software systems from BITS, Pilani to enrich my skills in core computer science concepts and architectural, design patterns. I was then introduced into a File Translation Utility(FTU) with a new technology stack. In FTU, I primarily got to work on Informatica Data Transformation Studio, Informatica Power center, Unix batch scripts, webMethods Services. In 2012, I moved to Charlotte, North Carolina to work from onsite location and provide co-ordination between onsite and offshore teams. Here I was given an opportunity spear head a new engagement as technology lead under same portfolio(ECS). The new engagement included creation and maintenance of enterprise java applications like Electronic Doc Delivery, E-Box Decisioning, RMOL and Payee Directory that will be hosted under CEO of Wells Fargo bank. Following note received from my Wells Fargo Manager summarizes many characteristics I learned and applied in my years of experience: George, Your leadership, meticulous planning, code reviews, game plans, resource alignment, time (working day AND night) and effort.
