About this session

This is not a quiz on LLM buzzwords or prompt templates. This is a full 90-minute AI System Design mock interview where you get real production engineering problems, architect and explain an end-to-end solution live, and get evaluated exactly the way an actual interviewer would evaluate you in 2026.

Questions can be around:

  1. Anything that comes under AI System Design: Obviously I can't tell you the exact systems I will ask you to design. But as a hint, you should know that AI System Design is not just about slapping an LLM API wrapper or a basic RAG pipeline onto a chatbot.
  2. Your resume: Deep dives into the architecture and trade-offs of the AI/backend projects you have listed.

What I evaluate:

  • Your ability to handle ambiguous, open-ended system design problems
  • The clarifying questions you ask before drawing boxes and arrows (scale, latency, cost, reliability, deterministic vs. non-deterministic boundaries)
  • How you handle real production concerns (hallucinations, evals, guardrails, caching, streaming, fallbacks, and failure modes)
  • Architecture structure, trade-off decisions, and how much depth & breadth you prepared for

Interview environment:

  1. We will use Excalidraw for designing systems
  2. Screen share: ON
  3. Camera: ON Come with your setup ready before the session starts.

Who this is for:

  1. AI Engineers, Applied AI / GenAI developers, and Backend Engineers preparing for tech interviews
  2. Freshers, SDEs, and career-switchers targeting AI Engineering or modern full-stack/backend roles
  3. Developers who want real interview pressure and honest feedback, not just theoretical Q&A

Note: This session is only for 0-3 YoE candidates. You should be comfortable with backend fundamentals and core AI engineering concepts (LLMs, embeddings, RAG, agentic workflows, APIs, and basic system design) before booking. This session is for practice and feedback, not for learning fundamentals from scratch.
