I’m currently pursuing my Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati. I love working at the intersection of AI, Robotics, and Reinforcement Learning. My research focuses on Federated Reinforcement Learning, Unsupervised Skill Discovery, and Sim-to-Real Transfer, where I work on helping robots learn and collaborate better. Alongside my Ph.D., I also work part-time with the startup MadScientist, building real-time information synthesis systems using LLMs. I’ve previously interned at Qualcomm, worked on AI-ML pipelines for robotics, and spent a lot of time experimenting with tools like the Qualcomm Robotics RB5 Development Kit, Webots®, ROS, and PyTorch. Teaching and mentoring are things I genuinely enjoy. I’ve been a Head TA for several AI and Robotics courses, guided student projects, and led communities as Chairperson of the IEEE Student Branch, Guwahati Subsection. My work has also made it to top conferences like Genetic and Evolutionary Computation Conference and Advances in Robotics. Outside of work, I’m a long-distance runner, marathoner, trekker, and an active Toastmaster. I strongly believe that professional growth becomes more meaningful when balanced with personal passions and community.
